Whereas Council approved a grant in the amount of $1,500 to Friends of the Hoople Creek in August, 2021; And whereas Council is concerned with the documents submitted related to the use of grant proceeds; Now therefore be it resolved that Council direct administration to send a letter to the organization advising that no further funds will be made available until permission concerns related to use of security cameras and social media posts have been addressed.

That By-law No. 2022-039, being a by-law to direct the CAO to make an application for approval to expropriate and further, to delegate the CAO the authority to issue a Notice of Intent to Expropriate an easement for groundwater use, be read and passed in open Council, signed and sealed this 25th day of May, 2022; and Further, directs the CAO take other actions as outlined to give effect to the expropriation process.
