Regular Meeting

That the minutes of the April 25 and 26, 2023 meetings be adopted as circulated.

That all items under the Consent Agenda be received and filed for information purposes.

That Council acknowledge receipt of the 2021 Drinking Water Quality Management System (DWQMS) Management Review including the following documents: a. DWQMS Management Review Procedure; b. DWQMS Management Review Checklist, identifying aspects of the systems with status updates and action items, if required, for each; c. DWQMS Operations Plan Manual; d. Certificate of Re-accreditation as a result of a successful third-party audit conducted by SAI Global And further, that Council accept and endorse the Operational Plan Manual.

That Council acknowledge receipt of 2022 Caneau Drinking Water Quality Management System (DWQMS) Management Review including the following documents: a. DWQMS Management Review Procedure; and b. DWQMS Management Review Checklist that identifies aspects of the system with status update and action items, if required, for each.

That Council approve the vesting, in accordance with Section 379 (7.1) of the Municipal Act, of three vacant properties legally described as: (1) PIN 60232-0088; CON 4 PT LOT 18; SOUTH STORMONT (County Rd 14) (2) PIN 60206-0088; PLAN 252 LOT 113; SOUTH STORMONT (Cain St.) (3) PIN 60206-0088; PLAN 252 LOT 114; SOUTH STORMONT (Cain St.) And further that Council authorize Staff to write off taxes in the amount of $108,257 on lands vested by the municipality, in accordance with Section 354 of the Municipal Act.

That Council designates the Humble Beginnings Brewing Co. 5- Year Anniversary Celebration, hosted in Lunenburg, as a municipally significant event for the event held on Saturday, June 3, 2023.

That Council supports Plan of Subdivision Application No. 01-SS- S-2023, based on the conditions of approval described in Appendix A of the Action Request dated May 10, 2023 and further, that these conditions, representing the Township’s formal comments on the proposal, be forwarded to the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry and the applicant.

That By-law No. 2023-035, being a by-law to authorize the submission of an application to the Ontario Infrastructure and Lands Corporation (OILC) for; 1. Fire Pumper Tanker Truck; and 2. 2022 Capital Bridge Reconstruction Work be read and passed in open Council, signed and sealed this 10th day of May 2023.

That By-law No. 2023-036, being a by-law to enter into a boundary roads agreement with the Municipality of South Dundas, be read and passed in open Council, signed and sealed this 10th day of May 2023.

That By-law No. 2023-037, being a by-law to enter into a Lease Agreement with the St. Lawrence Medical Clinic Leasing Corporation, be read and passed in open Council, signed and sealed this 10th day of May, 2023.

That By-law No. 2023-038, being a by-law to adopt a Temporary Patio Extension Policy, be read and passed in open Council signed and sealed this 10th day of May, 2023.

That By-law No. 2023-039 to adopt, confirm and ratify matters dealt with by resolution, be read and passed in open Council, signed and sealed this 10th day of May, 2023.

That Council adjourn this meeting at 6:13 PM and return to the call of the chair.
